Karla Allo, APRN

Karla’s desire to become a healthcare professional comes from years watching her father deliver care to patients in their homes throughout South Texas. Although her career began in clinical research, Karla decided to become a nurse and then a nurse practitioner, determined to work in primary care. She has enjoyed caring for and educating patients and their families, helping improve their quality of life and providing tools to prioritize health. Karla greatly enjoys establishing long-lasting relationships with her patients and community, and it shows in the care she delivers. Karla is board-certified and is a graduate of the Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston, where she received both her BSN and MSN. She also received her Master of Public Health from the UTHealth School of Public Health. In her spare time, Karla enjoys spending time with her family, especially her two sons and her husband.
