Francisco Esteban Gomez, MD

Dr. Francisco Esteban Gómez is a dedicated family physician at Suvida, with a commitment to evidence-based medicine and a passion for serving underserved communities. With expertise in healthcare disparities and the social determinants of health, Dr. Gomez strives to provide high-quality, holistic care to his patients, fostering relationships that feel like family. He completed his undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University and obtained his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He further refined his skills during his residency at the University of Arizona Family Medicine Residency Program, where he later served as an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine from 2022 to 2024. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Gomez is recognized for his excellence in teaching and patient care. His accolades include the Overall Faculty Excellence in Teaching Annual Award (2023), the STFM Resident Teacher Award (2022), and the Arizona Academy of Family Physicians Brazie Award (2021). Outside of his professional life, Dr. Gomez enjoys traveling with his wife, writing and recording music, and listening to podcasts.
